What should I know before buying a Digital Camera?
I do not know. Money is a consideration, but I'm not necessarily seeking the least expensive, only good for a bargain. House there are some things in particular I want to know: Megapixels – I can not move forward and assume that more is better, but how is the difference between 4 and 5 megapixels? Between 4 and 6 – video digital video cameras can also take Stills good idea? Or, at least in terms of image quality, better start with a camera? – All in one camera on the Printer Dock / Packages (such as the Kodak Easyshare) – good, bad, indifferent to anyone? You should know what to do with the photos, and what you want to take pictures _OF_. For example, if you want e-mail most of their images and post pages / or Web, then you do not need a camera with a large number of megapixels. Believe it or not, images about one million pixels of mean size is lost in computer monitors and most are just a pain to download time. Most imaging software of any sophistication will decrease the number of megapixels to use the Web or simply for viewing on a computer, rather than printing. To back up to 8 "by 10" may be difficult to say a photo taken with a 4 or more megapixels without a magnifying glass. However, 6 or more megapixels is if you want to make really big prints, or you acceptable to make copies of the photos you need a large number of crops (eg more than 50% removal of the image area). I have not used a digital Video Camera, so I can not comment on how they are still images themselves. I'm somewhat indifferent to the camera / package basic printer, and I like to use my printer for general use for everything from quick reports to print on a particular role. The price of copies printed base seems a bit expensive compared to them on a printer in general, and just buy a separate special photo paper. If you want to save money on good impressions, I'm at Wal Mart or Walgreens or or online …. The best accessories I have for my camera, except for a case that will have a rechargeable nickel-metal hydride batteries with charger, and a Card Reader memory. The first one I saved a lot of money on disposable batteries. This allows me to print things using the computer and printer to anyone, even public terminals without having to deal with driver installation on the camera and printer. A word of warning – nickel-hydride metal (NiMH) batteries must be recharged every few weeks, even if the device is not used at that time, they tend to run on their own. Use disposable lithium batteries, if you can not use a camera frequently. Some devices use rechargeable lithium batteries, as such as cell phones and laptops use. I suggest you stay away from cameras – Replacemet rechargeable lithium to be expensive, and the originals do not last more than a year of heavy use … Features: find a good Zoom Lens with a good amount macro and telephoto (Close) feature. We will use sooner or later. If you can afford the extra money, look for one with "advanced" features such as the creation rate "sensitivity" and aperture / shutter speed. I used a Kodak camera for several years, no problem with it ….
