Canon Digital Slr models can do as slave flash Nikon?
You know how some (most perhaps?) Nikon models DSLRs (like 70d) can use the external flash as the SB-800 and "Remote" flash by "integrated" function (sorry, I'm not sure what is the technical term is). So I was wondering, is it a digital SLR Canon has this feature? From what I know, most Canon Digital SLR will have to buy an additional transmitter and connect the camera to "distance" of the flash. thank you!
I think the Canon 7D has a wireless transmitter to trigger the flash off camera. There is certainly a Nikon 70D. Nikon models that can do wireless flash (Thanks to pop-up flash acting as "commander") are the D70, D80, D90, D200, D300 and D700. Nikon compatible flash units that work with the system are SB600, SB800, SB900 and the small SB-R200. Nikon to call your AWL / CLS (acronym for Advanced Wireless Lighting / Lighting Systems creative). Basically, you can control compatible flash off camera, either manual or TTL mode. You're right that the users of Canon (other than 7D) the purchase of an additional unit ST-E2 for installation in the control chamber off Canon flashes. Another problem for users Canon is that you can not have rear-curtain sync with flashes power off (including Canon's own brand!). rear curtain sync Nikon, with their own flash also triggered by other wireless remote. Of course, alternatively, you can buy any setting Flash Manual of age (eg, Vivitar 285HV) and a set of wireless triggers and you're good to go for the flash device on any what camera! PS Buying a flash of others and a set of triggers will be much cheaper to buy a Canon flash. Radio Active will not limited by distance / line of sight than the Canon / Nikon IR optical systems.
