Filter Set
How do I properly configure a filter in my yahoo mail?
I created a filter e-mails so sure mine can go in one file automatically when you enter my yahoo mail but it does not work and keeps coming into my inbox. I'm not sure what the name if the filter is supposed to put the sender's email addy or just your name. So what you put where it says "if all the following rules are true ….. 4 zones? Any help is appreciated Thanks.
To set up a personal "filter" for directing the incoming re-(from a designated address), in a separate folder instead of inbox. Mail>> options page (top right)> e> Options. Then click on "Filters" — and click "add". The filter name is for identification only — so just put your name if you wish. It is much enough for itself, but basically —- enter (at the head of the line) the exact address you want to redirect —- select a folder (or create a new one here )—- then click "Add Filter." The other four areas that are mainly used to target specific words. This tutorial should answer all your questions about how to work with filters. Click the "Create Filter."
