My Lenovo laptop does not detect my Sony Camcorder when connected via cable iLink. What should I do?
My computer Lenovo is 3000, Windows XP (Home Edition) operating system, I bought 8 months ago. The Sony Handycam DCR-HC42, a simple VCR tape. I bought a Real Sony iLink cable to transfer data. But when you are connected, each time 10 2 times is detected by the laptop, but after 1 minute you get a message stating that "the computer can not connect to the device."
It sounds like a bad connection. Of course all is well in touch Make sure the cable and the movie looks good. If you can borrow another cable, another laptop and a Video Camera to see what the other part of the problem remains.
