At the time of writing, the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 is definitely one of my favorite point and shoot Digital Cameras on the market. In short, is a compact model that comes with a variety of controls that can be adjusted, making it perfect for those who aspire to have a little more control in using their digital cameras.

The new Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 can take pictures with a maximum resolution 12.1 megapixels. This model has more than two dozen shooting modes, such as food, Snow, Fireworks, Film Grain, Soft Skin, and Hi-Speed Burst mode, for name a few. This wide range of shooting modes be nice, especially for those of us who like to inject a little control and creativity in our photos. Besides shooting modes, a handful of new special effects to choose from.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 a speed minimum shutter of 1 / 2000 second and a maximum of 60 seconds. It also comes with a Wide Angle 25 mm Leica DC Vario-Elmar allowing a larger area shooting. Another feature of this model is its 12x Optical Zoom. Some other standard features is the way high-definition recording video, face detection and optical image stabilizer.

One of the nicest features of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 should be your GPS that you to mark the location of where photos and videos were taken. When the feature is enabled on the photos and videos taken automatically tagged with the GPS coordinates of the site.

More importantly, the quality of photos and videos taken with the camera were very good. For photos, the images were sharp color accuracy and good fine detail. HD video taken with the camera is also very good, close to those taken on mini HD Video Camera (with zoom only works when it is in HD mode). However, if you Looking for a Compact Digital camera that is stylish, has great photos and has a wide range of features, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 make an excellent purchase. For now, this model costs about $ 295 per unit. Talk about a bargain!
