Lens Brass

Does anybody know a source of a large brass tube, approx. 50 mm, using an old telescope repair?
My father had a telescope since childhood. The hand is something like a telescope. The canyon has become unprecedented in the way and I would like to replace the gun working again. The last piece retains the lens barrel. The barrel is about 50 mm wide and 30 cm or a foot long. The telescope officials did not mark on it, so I do not know where to start looking for replacement parts. I think if I can find the exact size of the pipe I can fix it though. Thank you for any help that.
