What is a digital ballast
Digital or electronic ballasts are relatively new on the scene of indoor growing. His counterpart, magnetic ballasts, use of technology has over 100 years! Increasingly moving to electronic ballasts to enjoy the new and improved earnings efficiency. Tests have shown that digital ballasts are up to 30% brighter than some magnetic ballasts. Digital ballasts also energy much more efficient which means they produce more lumens per watt of energy consumed.

After a year of light use plants used from bulbs that work with digital ballasts has decreased by only 20-25%, when used in the type of lamp ballast coil lost 50-60% of the light plant used in the same period of time.
Digital ballasts also allow the producer to execute both MH and HPS bulbs ballast the same thing without having to change anything. digital ballasts are able to recognize each type of lamp and make changes automatically required to ensure that the system works properly. Do not change more or additional charges during growth in two different stages!
