Nikon 15x Zoom Lens options like?
Hello again .. I opted for Tuesday night D3000 as an upgrade from my Nikon Coolpix L100, I had a 15x zoom really liked. So my question is … Does the 18-55mm lens supplied enough to match that of the L100 15x? If not, I have to buy what amounts to $ 15x? Third of the target is an option. It's raining here, so I have not had the opportunity to test the new camera .. As always, your tips are appreciated!
Currently, there is only a 15x zoom to a third party DSLR and Tamron. The objective in question is the 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 VC LD DIII. This is the first Digital Slr lens 15x ever offered by any manufacturer. 18-55mm lens supplied with the D3000 is "only" 3x zoom, but it will offer better image quality in focal lengths than the Tamron, because it is almost as short 18-55mm that have fewer components and less chromatic aberration to enter. If I had to go this route, I opt own Nikon 18-200mm VR, which has always been better picture quality than Tamron. It is a 15x, but it is a better lens.
