Pinhole Lens
proportional to the pinhole aperture?
I am doing a school project to compare the resolution of a pinhole lens Digital Camera. I was told that the diameter of the pinhole and lens apertures as wide as possible and that this would light to slip into the pinhole. It can therefore be proportional? and if you can, I am puzzled as to how to go about these proportions.
I'm sure you mean a hole "target" or on deck in a body digital camera .. A body of a D-Slr Camera type & P S does not work .. The resolution will not be a contest. The camera with a glass lens is going to win many times and all hands down .. There no way of opening the pinhole could be proportional to a lens aperture of the camera. The pin hole has af / stop around F/200 thing as or longer (distance vrs diameter hole in the image plane) – 1 – Keep backlight Enuf for display, and 2 – is small enuf to have the effect of the application of pinhole and produce an image able to see the quality. Here is a mathematical formula for the size of the pinhole. Google – hole or words such as cameras and study ..! If the pinhole just too big, no image will be used if it is too small, will also be of poor quality. Glass lenses have the advantage – emphasis .. pinhole cameras, projectors, no. There no way you can do PR. Camera Lenses will not (nothing) F/200 and pinholes may be f / 3.5 or 5.6 or even f/32 f/22 or … You may want to find a new school project, like running a car engine in the water ..
