How do I get my camcorder to be recognized on my MacBook Pro?
I have a firewire cable, but I can not get my MacBook Pro recognizes the device. I tried all the troubleshooting and nothing seems to work. Suggestions? This is a device relatively old, play, record and outside. I used it on my old Dell and it would recognize that very well. Even bought a new firewire cable if it was a faulty cable, but no luck.
Hello, What you need to do is go to the site And manufacturers' web camera download drivers for Mac Book. These can usually be found in the support tab or a driver on the site. Follow instructions on loading the driver and restart the camera. Good luck.
