Very capable digital SLR
I had the Canon 40D over a year, bought on Amazon. It is a very powerful digital SLR with excellent image quality (I use the zoom 24-105 L). It is relatively easy to use, especially with custom menus. The biggest improvement for me photography is due to fast autofocus and shutter very fast – as fast as you can press the button, you need a good image that has the focus. 40D is a classic
This device was given to me as a gift for almost two years and I'm still happy with it. It replaced a 350D and I've never looked back – the largest body size, image quality is significantly improved and controls all the utilities make this camera a winner. A friend of mine recently took a 50D and I the courage to tell him that I think the 40D is a better deal.

great camera, robust, reliable and easy to use
I upgraded this camera from a Rebel XT. Had a bit after the 50D came out if I wanted to spend the extra on the 50D instead of 40D. Finally, I decided to go with the 40D and save extra money. In general, I could not be happier with my purchase. The unit photo is very well built and solid as a rock in his hands, even with a big heavy lens. I like having the size of the area of greatest adhesion, even with my small hands. It makes me more able to control the camera movement. The controls are easy to reach by hand, but if you take the adjustment you move a camera from the Rebel series to pro-consumer models like the 40D and 50D. The 3.0 "LCD is a dream come true. Histogram features are also very suitable for measuring and setting the white balance while shooting. Noise reduction is very efficient and significantly reduces noise at high ISO shots. The camera itself is a very robust, much more than the Rebel series cameras, which actually a much better choice for photographers interested in wildlife photography or outdoor free, where other possible falling or banging the camera around the increase. I think the extent of the chamber is sufficient for approximately 95% of the shots I take. The rebel series cameras, however, have virtually no shutter speed of the 40D, not the performance of the 40D is excellent height ISO, have less battery life, and are much smaller and less durable. If these problems are not a big problem for you, the XS and XSI can be a better option.
Could not be happier with my purchase, especially since the 50D is more expensive bells and whistles that was not needed. My recommendation any debate between the 40D and 50D is do your homework and think long and hard about what you want to be able to do with your camera before you buy. The 50D has quite good at making it more effective for some, but if the extra features are not needed, saving your money and go with the 40D. Do not be disappointed! It is a great camera and is also a very good price.

Great quality and ease of use
