Canon never disappoints me
I am a photographer amateur and were shot at various digital point and shoot, and the age of 35 mm SLR (costs more in both categories). This is my first digital SLR and was not exactly what to expect. The camera feels good (I have small hands, I saw some complaints about the feel of the camera, so I thought mentioned in the event that marks the difference.) He took great photos right of the box, but now I'm learning how to access all the options you can take pretty impressive photos. I was very happy to know my old SLR lenses fit on this camera, so I have a wide range of range of options for shooting, the macro to telephoto. (Good thing too, because quality lenses are expensive.) The goal was not overwhelmingly impressive, but it does very well with the macro (which is also screwed onto a 10X magnifying glass on him) but I'm sure for beginners who work in many situations different and more kindly use while saving for a better lens.
The Action camera well managed. I have several young children who are always in motion and I got some very interesting photos of them in motion. So when you do a portrait, bokeh on this camera is very beautiful.
It is very easy to upload images one of my computers (desktops or laptops). I have not played with their software, so I really can not speak again. I am very pleased that includes a program for your RAW images, however.
I jumped from reading the entire manual and instead to refer to Ben Long Mate The Canon Eos Digital Rebel XSi/450D.
I also like the timer mode it may take up to 10 images instead of one, which is great for family photos … you get 10 opportunities to get one where everyone has eyes open. lol
The battery life that accompanies it is sustainable. Also lost a couple pieces of batteries, so I'm not in a situation where I will miss pictures very well, because the battery of my death. (This package also comes with a Battery Charger.)
I recommend this camera, I love it.

what more could you expect. Turn it on, catch and shoot. You can not go wrong. I just wanted a camera and not worry about shooting a movie. Speed Shooting fantastic sporting events, WOW. Get one. I looked at Nikon, but it was with Canon, as was the best unit.

I do not know how to use many features, more so I AUTO can not talk about it. I hope to learn to use all these features.
I am disappointed that the camera does not function video clips short video.
I am also disappointed that you must use the viewfinder to take photos in automatic mode and will not be displayed on the screen super right!
Alternatively, take great pictures and hope to learn to use all the manual functions.

I bought this camera for my wife likes to take pictures of your garden plants and the kitchen dishes up. She used take them to a higher point and shoot camera of 3.2 MP. Like most of their needs were macro close-ups, old aircraft was not that the court and gave a lot of blurry images and washed out.
It is a little person, so I wanted to find a compact and lightweight digital SLR beginner level. Research and review sites like what I read on the Canon Rebel XSi. He met all the criteria and the price was very reasonable. I purchased an additional macro lens for that.
We had the camera for about a year and have taken thousands of pictures and they all look amazing. Never thought I could get used to carrying around a digital SLR, but now I can not go anywhere without him. The images obtained with this camera just does not compare with the images taken with a point and shoot camera. This is a device ideal for those interested in entering the SLR.
