Everything I expected
Look on the future of compact cameras. I tried the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1, but the approach was not as quick and images light are not great. There seems to be a substitute for a good digital SLR.

Great improvements on XSi, T1i
I think all the improvements through approximately June 1 XSi (used above) and T1i are important. The processor of the sensor and the image will certainly improve the image quality under various conditions difficult. The increase in mega-pixels help if you need to crop or large prints, you can use something around 8megs. HD video is smooth. The LCD is pretty good. Quick Setup button, etc are very useful. The native interface is clear Eye-Fi when used with the wireless card SD. I'm using a Tamron "AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical IF Macro Zoom" and so far I really results.

I love it!
T2i is incredible. Whether you want a good HD camcorder for fun, to take some pictures to start a business photo / video for a film Independent … the T2i is an excellent choice for the price. If used correctly video can pick you very cinematic. Pull a The good series lens, shooting in 24p and use Glidetrack some shots of a car and you do not believe the results.
I loved so I bought a second. My only complaint is the noise and lack of manual control in this area … but I record all my audio modes in a device which is nonetheless not a big deal. It's just that from time to time I like to go out and throw in the old microwave get decent audio … and I actually do.
